This relatively unknown drive displayed a decent performance in the tests, and featured sturdy build quality. Bundled with the drive is an analog audio connector and the drive mounting screws. There was no installation or userÆs manual included with the drive. The performance of the drive was quite good, and the data transfer rates at the inner and the outer edges of the drive were clocked at 3.56 MBps and 6.8 MBps respectively. The access time was very good, at 74.9 ms. Since the drive featured DMA data transfers, the CPU utilisation was a low 2.88 percent.
With very stable performance and an attractive price, this CD-ROM drive is ideally suited to all applications that require good data transfer rates and low access times.
